Information Sources

These deposition (bench) books contain a record of cases brought before the Court. Details given include: place and date of hearing, names of parties, nature of charge, plea, judgment and signature of presiding magistrate. In some cases, particularly where a plea of not guilty is entered, depositions of witnesses are also given. The first volume contains some entries which are duplicated in the second volume with depositions included.
The first volume, on the last page, also contains a list of the owners and the real property descriptions of wholesale spirit stores in Springsure.
Applications for licenses of various types are also recorded throughout the volumes.
