Deborah Provisional School No. 465 opened on 28 April 1885. It became a State School in January 1909 and closed the same year.
The school reopened as Deborah half-time Provisional School No. 453 in March 1921, and opened as a full time State School on 4 April 1927. Deborah State School closed on 5 June 1939.
