Blantyre State School No.321 opened in 1876 with 76 enrolments in the West Moreton district. The Head Teacher was Benjamin Cumming. The school closed and reopened as a Provisional School on 21 November 1887, the Head Teacher at that time being George Edward Penny. There were 26 pupils in average attendance at the school. The School later changed to a State School on 6 July 1891 and closed permanently in 1969 due to the implementation of school transport systems which provided transport to schools in larger centres.
