Description

Despatches written by the Agent-General, London on immigration and related matters such as issue of land order warrants and letting of contracts for the conveyance of immigrants as well as commercial transactions between the Queensland Government and suppliers in Britain for the ordering and freighting of material to Queensland. In the late 1880s and 1890s issues covered in despatches also included diplomatic, political and defence interests of the Queensland Government.
