This series comprises child welfare examination questions set by the Nurses and Masseurs Registration Board/ Nurses Registration Board of Queensland for nurses training in child health. Nurses attended the training school at the St Paul's Terrace Home and after successfully passing the examination received a Certificate in Child Welfare.

The series also includes examination questions for Child Welfare Assistants who trained at the Clayfield, Ipswich, Toowoomba and Rockhampton homes. They received a 'Certificate in Competency' as a Child Welfare Assistant on graduation.
