Information Sources


Description

These volumes contain gold mining leases issued mostly under the Mineral Lands Acts 1872 -1882 and the Mining Act 1898. Each lease in a volume includes the date of lease, name of the applicant, period of the lease and amount of rent, as well as a sketch and description of the area of the lease, and any transfers of the lease. The lease is signed by the governor.
