Description

This series comprises maps of the State of Queensland and parts of bordering states. Two maps depict eastern Queensland and part of New South Wales, namely the area between Grafton and Cooktown and western Queensland - from Hungerford to Cape York - and part of South Australia. Information includes: topographic features; towns and cities and pastoral district names; railway and telegraph lines and the location of telegraph stations; and where the explorers Burke, Wills, Gilbert and Kennedy died.
A map showing resources in Queensland is also included in this series.
