Description

This series consists of records of the burials in the Upper North Pine Cemetery / Dayboro Cemetery.

The burial register records burials for portions 1-4 in the cemetery, between 1904-1977. The burials are recorded on pages 1-12 of the register.

The following details may be included: register number of burial, date of burial, deceased's name, sex, age, fees, trade or calling, grave size, position of grave, undertakers name, deceased's religion, name of minister who officiated at the burial, witnesses to the burial and other observations. In many instances the cause of death is listed.

The register has also been used to record a list of graves for portions 1-4 in the cemetery. Compiled in June 1987, the grave listing appears on pages 20-114 of the same register. Entries continued to be added to this listing up to 1990. The information that has been transcribed from the burial register includes: date of burial, deceased's name, sex, age, position of grave and undertaker's name. In some instances trade or calling, cause of death and the name of the minister who officiated at the burial are also included. In this listing there are also details for section 5, portion 1, grave numbers 147-151. Numbering is present for section 6, portions 1-4, graves 1-48, but no details are entered.

Compiled on loose sheets is a list of graves with burial details for the years 1904-1999, for portions 1-4, sections 1-6. Information transcribed from earlier records may include: grave position, name of the deceased, age, sex, denomination, cause of death.
