This series consists of files regarding former Queensland public servants employed in government agencies for which over time the Chief Secretary's / Premier's Department was responsible: for example, State Stores, Co-ordinator - General's Department, Queensland Museum, State Reporting Bureau, Electoral and Administrative Review Commission etc. The files can include letters of appointment with salary details, leave details, positions held, places of employment, probation certificates and requests for reimbursement of expenses, and letters of resignation. Included also in some files are letters of recommendation sent to the Chief Secretary by the Public Service Commissioner for acceptance of appointments etc. to be taken to the Executive Council for approval.
This series also includes Senior Executive Services (SES) personnel files which may include remuneration packages, service agreements, contracts of employment, variations to contracts, statutory declarations, and correspondence.
