Description

This series consists of references and medical certificates required from intending migrants prior to their passage to Queensland. References for an intending migrant may have been provided by a school teacher, previous employer, or others willing to vouch for the good character of the migrant. A pink Immigration Department's pro-forma medical certificate contains sections to be completed with a migrant's personal details, results of the medical examination signed by a medical practitioner, and the signature of the intending migrant.
