Description

This series consists of papers and correspondence including passage remittance certificate forms, memos and letters, sent to the Assistant Immigration Agent, Maryborough by the Immigration Department, relating to nominated immigrants from Europe. Passage remittance certificate forms include the names of the nominated persons, the amount deposited and the signature of the applicant. The papers also include two leaflets: one leaflet setting out rates of passages for nominated immigrants and where applications and payment should be made, and the other leaflet or circular, an instruction to agents regarding application forms.
