Description

This series of letterbooks contains copies of letters sent by the Agent-General, London to the Colonial Secretary, Colonial Treasurer and other Government Ministers on a wide range of subjects including immigration, the purchase and transportation of goods and equipment for the Queensland Government, trade and commerce and diplomatic and political questions.

In the front of each letterbook there is an alphabetical index arranged by department then cross-referenced to the letter number copied in the letterbook.

Letterbooks contain press copies in fragile condition and are difficult to read.
