Description

These working papers were generated by the Committee set up to advise the Minister for Education on the issues surrounding Distance Education and the viability of setting up Distance Education Centres in Queensland by 1987. Options for co-ordinating pre, primary, secondary and post-compulsory education as well as decentralising facilities are debated in the papers. Questions, concerns and recommendations from teachers at the Primary Correspondence School, addresses by the Minister for Education, Hon. Lin. Powell MLA, Secondary Schools Support Scheme (RSSSS), as well as the draft report from the committee and minority statement are included.
