This series was produced by the Survey Office and shows local government boundaries and principal stock routes. Some maps have been annotated, with dates ranging from the 1860s to the 1920s, when particular stock routes were first used; opening areas up for selection or lease.

Details featured on these maps include pastoral district and pastoral holding boundaries, property names, trucking yards and railway stations. Maps are drawn on a scale of 16 miles to an inch.
