Description
Nash Road State School, via Tarzali, Cairns Railway, opened 1 September 1922 with the transfer of Minnie Kathleine Smith on 1 September 1922. In May 1925, the school underwent a name-change to Minbun State School. The school was declared closed 31 December 1974 due to low attendance. The Minbun school buildings were purchased by the Minbun Community Centre Association, and the school teacher's residence resited for teacher's accomodation at Malanda.
