Description
Millwood Provisional School opened 23 October 1944 when its first Head Teacher, Murray Phillip Honor, was tranferred from Dalby, and the first pupil registrations took place, on that date. In January 1960 the school was proclaimed a State School. Millwood State School closed 25 June 1965 and remaining pupils were transported to Millmerran State School via a School Transportation Service. The school building and toilet block was purchased and removed by the Millmerran Boys Scout Association in 1966.
