Description
Purga Creek No.2 School no.86 opened on 4 September 1871. By 1875 the School had changed name to become the Peak Mountain State School No.86 and had 86 pupils enrolled. In the early 1920s another name change occurred with the school being named Peak Crossing State School No.86.
