Description
Gin Gin Provisional School No.298 opened in 1882 and closed on 31 October 1890. Gin Gin State School opened on 3 November 1890. The First Head Teacher was Arthur William Moore who was in charge of 8 pupils. A Secondary department was added to the School in 1956 until a separate high school was opened in 1972.
