Description

Waterford Division changed from Division to Shire on 31 Mar 1903. An Order in Council dated 9 December 1948 abolished Waterford Shire and redistibuted it to be included in Beaudesert and Albert Shires. The ruling did not take effect until the conclusion of the next local government election held end of May 1949.
