This exhibition includes documents and images from Queensland State Archives' collection relevant to the 1982 Commonwealth Games in Brisbane such as: an image of the 1982 Games' mascot, Matilda; images of visiting dignitaries Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip; images of sporting events and medal ceremonies; and, documents relevant to the planning of the 1982 Commonwealth Games.
